On the subject of films

Ad Mundo Exteriore,

Oh, I remembered what else I wanted to write in my LJ. I saw the preview for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and it looks even better than the first movie! I'm really looking forward to it; I was sort of disappointed by the rush, rush quality of Sorcerer's Stone, but I think this one's going to be much better. I mean, they've showed us the wonders of Hogwarts and everything, so they can now concentrate more on telling the story, right?

I also saw a preview for Tuck Everlasting. I didn't know they were making that into a movie! That was one of my favorite children's books...I'm looking forward to it even if they've turned it into a typical teen romance. The look and feel of the movie is just gorgeous, even if they've skewed up the story to give a happy ending rather than an ambiguous one.
