Misunderstandings with M. Ordinateur

Can someone please explain why the formatting of the geneTRIBE output comes up weird when I use this slightly modified input which has the exact same formatting?
::plays a tape of Lyd-chan screaming, to relieve her feelings:: (I can't scream myself, my vocal cords hesitate at the abuse and refuse to cooperate when I try.)
I'm re-obsessed with CCS fanfiction, more specifically anything that has to do with Eriol. Entirely the fault of...hm...I forgot whose fault it was. Probably mine. ::backs away, whistling innocently::
Also, why oh why do colleges have to indulge our superstitious streaks and tell us our early application results on Friday the 13th? Argh. At least UPenn tells their applicants tomorrow, i.e. the day before. I can't stand this suspense or this sinking feeling of doom. But in any case, good luck to Angelette-oniichan! Hope she at least gets into Wharton, if not that double major program thing.
I've been spontaneously spewing college talk all this week. I can't go for more than two hours without suddenly hyperventilating about it. Mostly due to my parents who keep asking hopefully if the colleges have emailed yet and my classmates who are also panicking, worrying or gleefully gloating because they didn't apply early.
And it does not help that this output is coming out strangely. ::glares at computer::
I don't feel better at all after ranting.
