Ad Mundo Exteriore,

I'm...avoiding my friends list because of new Internet time restrictions. Once I start going to the Flushing library every week, I'll try to sneak some more Internet time for reading LJs.

I just wanted to say that yes, now I'm a high school graduate, and no, I still haven't adjusted. I didn't even say goodbye to all the teachers. I don't really believe that I may never see some of these people again, and I've had four days to accept the fact. It just feels like any other summer vacation. I have a feeling that all these ties to high school are going to slip my grasp just when I least realize it.

I had my first driving lesson today, and shhh, don't tell anyone, but I didn't have my learner's permit yet. The instructor told me in no uncertain terms that I had to get it before tomorrow, so I spent all of today frantically reading the driver's manual. I passed the written test and got my permit; the photo version is coming in the mail in about a week. Now I have a real ID to show as proof of my age when the cinemas stop me from going into R movies. ('Cause, as you all know, I look like I'm barely out of middle school. -_-)

The new computer came this afternoon, in a ripped up box, which makes me nervous, but everything seems okay. Haven't actually opened it yet, but it looks all right. >_> And the flat-screen monitor is awfully nice. ^_^

Jasper Fforde's Lost in a Good Book is very funny, if a trifle heavy-handed. I do recommend it however.

I wanted to write more, but yes, that Internet time restriction...ugh.
