Last-minute panicking

There's a big empty hole where my heart is. Yes, I'm homesick and I haven't even left yet. What a huge sap I am. Honestly, who would have known I'd be so sentimental? Argh. ::slaps herself in the face::
Yes, it's my last night in New York before I go to college. I don't nearly feel grownup enough for this yet. Look at icon, if you need proof.
Apparently, my roommate has an LJ. I've just gone and friended her...hope she doesn't mind. >_> Anyway, I was going to write a long lugubrious entry on why I feel so empty, but I decided to avoid the cliché and go to sleep instead. I need a good dose of common sense here.
