I got Hikaru no Go volume 23. I saw the last chapter (that Jump final sidestory thing that came out during the summer). ;_; I really do feel like sniffling. It's strange that I could get this obsessed but then,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lush_rimbaud always sets me an example of "fangirlism" to the extreme, so I should attribute it to her influence.
It's really cute though that the insei who is Hikaru's fan has his bangs dyed blonde? orange? as well. Wah! Little insei cosplayers! But the last image of Hikaru ready to set his stone on the board just "tugged at my heartstrings" and made me feel so maudlin...::sniffles some more:: Why does Hikaru no Go so easily reduce me to a pile of goo? Argh.
Some jerk on the floor above me insists on bouncing some sort of handball or basketball. It's extremely annoying and grates on my nerves! What a way to spoil the mood!
Anyway, todaytryogeru came to visit me in the Square, and we took the T to Sasuga Books (where I bought volume 23) and ate at a Japanese ramen stand. Strangely appropriate since I was reading Naruto fanfics just before I ran out to meet her. I also got to show my room off. ^_^ Tryo-chan gave me this really gorgeous and shiny Lord of the Rings poster, with the Fellowship at the center. (No, not a movie poster. Book illustration, thank you very much.) And it fills up that empty space on the wall above my bed. Merci, Tryo-chan!
Self, you need to stop spending money before you're broke. One would think that $200 is enough for a month's living expenses (since the term bill covers meals and boarding), but no, you just have to act like a spoiled brat and spend half of that in the space of four days. Talk about guilt kicking in.
