Ad Mundo Exteriore,

Am officially a day behind schedule thanks to Naruto, Chrno Crusade, some half-a-dozen random manga, and Full Metal Alchemist. Yes, watched all thirteen episodes out on fansub today. But really, I couldn't help myself. When at least two of the fanfic writers on my friends list write for a series, I have to know what it's originally about before clawing my eyes out with curiosity. Uh...maybe not the most appropriate image there, but I actually do tend to poke my fingers into my forehead when I'm curious about something. >_> Also hunting around for Peacemaker Kurogane and Azumanga Daioh. Hopefully, I won't find them before reading period is over.

Anyway, tomorrow, I plan to pack my books and hole myself up in Widener somewhere. I thought about going to Lamont, but I have a feeling that it's going to be packed. Besides, I need to be in a grand place in order to think suitably grand thoughts about Augustus and his Golden Age. The topic is becoming more and more cohesive as I try to explain it to people. ^_^ I think I know what I need to do now.

I just downloaded this nifty computer notecard and bibliography program called Scholar's Aid. You can get the Lite version (which is free) on Cnet. You can label your notes as quotations, summaries, original ideas, or glossary. Plus, you can add hyperlinks to connect all your notecards together as well as link it with the appropriate source. Hurrah, an ultimate notecard program! (Well, the interface is a bit clunky and not the easiest to figure out, but that's what you get for using freeware.) I'm going to write my notes on index cards of course, but I'm going to transfer them all onto Scholar's Aid when I get back to my room and do some major brainstorming/organizing/outlining. Yes! I think I'll be ready to tackle this paper! (Somewhat surprising, considering I'm currently exhausted with recompiling the final HGDRP paper.)

I should also put all those review sessions and office hours onto my reading period schedule (the one that I'm a day behind on). Hm...tomorrow morning. Should go to sleep now if I want to wake up at eight o' clock.

Ad Mundo Exteriore,

I received my third biology midterm today, and finally, finally, I got an A. Of course, it was the easiest exam so far. But if I study hard for the final and get an A there too, then I may, just may, actually pull through with an A in this course. ::prays::

Still about a day behind in work. >_< I think I'll just go to sleep early and try not to sleep 'till 9:30 again. If I get up early enough, then I can turn in my HGDRP paper and get to the library. Oh, and actually remember to bring music with me this time so I'll stay awake.

I was on a really productive spurt at Widener, just before I had to go to my first EC meeting. Argh. Will try to reproduce that tomorrow. I think I'm going to try to include Virgil, Horace and Propertius, but I'm not including any art. I have to draw the line somewhere. Reading Suetonius has given me a plethora of useful information but nothing that points toward a thesis (because he's so bloody neutral about everything!), which is making me slightly nervous. Oh well. I must resign myself to having to spend Saturday writing the paper after all. >_<

I think I'm feeling rushed not because I don't have enough time to write the paper but because I want to have the paper finished early for once.
