Ad Mundo Exteriore,
To everyone who wished me luck on my first final of the exam period (via LJ or in RL)...thank you! It miraculously turned out to be a pretty straightforward test, and I came out of it feeling, "Hm...I must have actually learned some biology this semester." Plus, I finished thirty minutes early and had time to check over. That's got to be a first for this course.
Next final is Thursday, in Korean, my easiest course. I plan to haunt AIM and type in
hangeul to whoever is unlucky enough to be online at the time. Oh, and write LJ entries in Korean too. (It'll be a good review of plain style, even though I know that style of speech better than formal style because I speak it all the time. >_>)
Tonight, I'm going to watch the DVD of Volcano High, which
delentyevox kindly lent me, as well as FMA 15 and CC 7 (downloaded on my computer but unopened). Then I'm going to burn off all these anime files onto CD and clear some space on my computer.
I have an interesting idea for a wallpaper, and it'll probably end up looking bad and not at all like the way I pictured it. AnimeOnline people will probably politely criticize me, and I'll get < 90 ratings again. But I'm still in planning mode, so I'm not going to let that prospect depress me...yet. Anyway, I need to go look up information on Chinese and Japanese landscape paintings before I attempt the wallpaper.
The Aura wall is a hopeless case. I don't know what to do with it. I think it's irredeemable, at the moment. The Sasuke skin has been pushed back to post-intersemester, since this new wallpaper idea has hit me out of nowhere.
Is it just me, or has the Hikaru no Go fandom died down? Of course, I haven't been doing much for it myself--I really can't touch
hand_of_god until exam period is over. And...well, Full Metal Alchemist is just about to become my new favorite anime, while Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker is now second to Hikaru no Go on my favorite
manga list. (Okay...it's a
kendo manga. How can I
not like it? Okita Souji is a total
bishounen and Haku lookalike. And of all things, I'm getting
plot bunnies about Tetsu practicing
jigeiko.) Oh, and I really, really want to read the rest of 열혈여아 (it's translated as "Hot-Blooded Woman", but I don't quite like that title). That's...three new series. Argh. I am so doomed...
Hikaru no Go is still first in my heart though. ^_^ I
am going to make an Akira skin someday.
