31 days: August 2, "A school of morality"

I saw this theme, and the first association that came to mind was Molière and cuckoldry. Clearly, the logical conclusion was Death Note. The following is set in the four years between plot arcs that the manga so blithely skips over. sub_divided requested a Death Note drabble a long time ago, and while I'm still writing a (very different) fic set in those four years for her, I thought I would dedicate this to her as an apology for my (continuing) tardiness.
