Ad Mundo Exteriore,

May the good Lord preserve us from people who like to say, "I think it's, like, amplified that way, you know," in obnoxious drawls in English class. That particular quote was from yesterday, but it's still grating on my nerves. And may I somehow come up with a good thesis on Mansfield before Monday, uncorrupted by the idiotic comments of the underclassmen in my College Lit. course.

I'm getting positively frightened by the visualizations on iTunes. I swear, the computer listens to the music. It changes colors or style of visualization every time the song shifts. I think it even tries to match the colors with the mood of the music. And despite my limited capacity for memorizing complex visual forms, I'm almost sure that it's innovating. I've never really seen the same pattern twice. ::very scared:: I think I have a Hal on my hands. Aaah, my innocent toilet-porcelain-white laptop's going to kill me in my sleep! And that apple logo glows. ::shudders::

No, I haven't been reading Victorian Gothic novels (although I'd certainly like to). My overuse of italics is simply the result of having nightmares about my computer.

I have college essays to write. I must not open up a story and type ten more pages. Nor will I spend the rest of my time reading The Kindly Ones. That's a cool name for the Erinye, by the way.

A few days ago I had a rather interesting dream, in which I was watching an action film playing out around me, like a 3D movie. Except I was not a character or even partially attached to the mind of any character. It was nice to be a spectator in a dream for once.

I have a headache from trying to prove that the sum of two integers is an integer. You have no idea how difficult my math class is. I got a 35 out of 50 on my homework, and that was better than most of the class. Even the math geniuses in my grade who are taking the class with me got no higher than a 37. Some people even got as low as 16. I'm almost certain that I will barely, barely get a B in this class, which would be my first and only B transcript grade since I entered Hunter.
