Lowell House on the Feast of St. Julius
I posted a Hikaru no Go FST yesterday, at the very last minute, since my collaborator pushed for it. To be entirely honest, I'm not really happy with it (or at least what's up there now). I mean, I like what song choices I have, but as a whole, the FST feels dreadfully incomplete. I've been taught a lesson: never attempt an FST for the series you love best because you will always end up disappointed with yourself. ::sighs:: Well, I suppose I should content myself with the fact that it's a decent mix, if not quite a soundtrack.
(I wish I had some means of purchasing the Quattro Mani CD with the recording of Haskell Smith's piano duet. Apparently the duet is based on a Shuusaku game, and it would have been so appropriate. ::mourns lost opportunities:: Maybe someone with deeper pockets and more devotion will remix the FST and include the track?)
Yesterday, I ran 1.1 miles on the treadmill without stopping or walking. The last time I did that was in seventh grade. I then walked for about five minutes and then ran again until I reached 2.1 miles. I'm quite amazed by myself.
tryogeru's reaction, when I told her the news, "Who are you and what have you done with Tari?" ^_^ I didn't run again today because of other commitments, but I've decided to be resolute and keep it up until the Shoryuhai. Everyone's pretty intense about training; I passed Bea today and her first words to me after saying hello was "Are you going running?" ^_^
Yours &c.
Post-script: Ah, there's nothing like reading through 33 new emails in your inbox only to find eight more coming in the minute after you finish.

Date: 2005-04-13 02:13 am (UTC)It's strange, really. Most people I know seem to have trouble breathing. But for me it's the muscles. O__o; Eh, I should run more.
I read posts at your journal and I become more and more curious about Hikaru no Go. I should probably check it out soon. (It's spring break for me too, so yeah. ^^)
Take care. <3

Date: 2005-04-13 02:29 am (UTC)Oh, do read Hikaru no Go! It's strangely addictive, and I would love to see you write for it. I have all the manga scans, so if you want I can upload them somewhere where you can download (although it might take me a while to get them all up there). ^_^
