Coincidences

One of the Lowellians who went to my high school (graduated a year ahead of me) just friended me on thefacebook, and although I don't know her very well, I friended her back because well, being a former Hunterite is vaguely like being part of a huge family tree. One might not necessarily know all the relatives, but nonetheless, the connection remains. Anyway, I checked out her profile, and apparently she lived in the very suite that I'm going to be living in next year. What's even more odd is that the suite I lived in this past sophomore year was also inhabited by a former Hunterite, who is now a Lowell tutor, in his sophomore year. (He used to be president of Science Club when I was in eighth grade.) Also, this summer, by complete chance, my fourth roommate happens to be, yes, a former high school classmate. Can we all break out into choruses of "It's a Small World After All"? At least my freshman room wasn't previously inhabited by a Hunter alum, other than me. As far as I know, that is.
(Er, before you get the wrong impression, Hunter is a public school and a rather underfunded one at that. There's a disproportionate number of Hunterites here at my university, but considering each graduating class doesn't number more than 200 anyway, it can't be that many. Also, please rest assured that Lowell is a large House and has many, many rooms. This is a really bizarre set of coincidences.)
