postboxes with a new letter here. A bit short because I...ran out of ideas. O_O Anyway, do feel free to give feedback and constructive criticism. (Commenting on the journal itself may feel weird, but you can always say it here instead.)
Only 6 out of 18 books in the first lines meme have been guessed so far. That's only 33%! My taste in books isn't that obscure, you know. I'll give you all two more days to guess before I reveal the answers.
At the moment, I'm reading The Paths of the Dead at the moment and am enjoying it muchly. Spoiler reaction: Morrolan grew up thinking he was an Easterner? Hahahahahaha! ::can't stop laughing::
To-do list for this weekend:
1. Finish updating reading blog.
2. Work on that Death Note fic.
3. Update recs LJ.
4. Tag all LJ entries.
(Tags are wonderful. Now if only there were some easy way of going through all 600 entries. Actually it's more like 590-something, but rounding up can't hurt. Also, my mind is a bit obsessive when it comes to organizing anything, and I'll probably end up thinking all night about what level of resolution at which I should tag my entries.)
Yours &c.
Post-script: You know, I'm rather startled that I've only written 600 entries. This LJ is in its third year, isn't it? I suppose I go for length rather than frequency.
Post-post-script:
murinae and
rageprufrock's latest respective fanfiction have reminded me all over again why Touya and Shindou are my OTP. Now I want to write Hikaru no Go fic, except I don't know what. There's the story I started for "Hikaru no Go Day" but it's depressing, and I'm frankly too sleepy to pull off a depressing tone at the moment. I'm also getting increasingly fed up with how static my writing is. I want to write something with a plot! Conflict and resolution! That's why the Death Note fic is getting priority at the moment. >_>

Date: 2005-06-17 03:12 am (UTC)Tags were a "Huh?" thing to me at first, but I'm getting attached to them. I have over 600+ entries... and I started writing in December 2003. I'm amazed by how much I've written... ^^; I'm also appalled by how much I have to tag.
My to do list is very much like yours. *hugs*
I hope you write some Hikago, but don't stress yourself, OK? I know I sound silly, but sometimes, it's easy just to let your hands type for you and not think-- some of my decent writing comes out that way. ^^'

Date: 2005-06-20 12:20 am (UTC)Is there a specific point I can read up to in "the Project" or should I hold off completely until all the edits are in on Tuesday? I've been getting curious...
