Fanfiction.net reviews
Jun. 28th, 2005 06:17 amSherman Fairchild, on the Feast of St. Irenaeus
I woke up this morning to find five (five!) FF.net reviews in my inbox, which must be a record for me because normally I get one every two months. And lo, for the first time, I can join in the laughter over funny reviewers. I couldn't stop chuckling on my way to work.
One of the fics I posted up a few days ago was the 100-word drabble I wrote for
jump100, Regret, a Portrait.
The response:
Another person asked me: "who played go with him?" ::falls over::
The first reviewer went on to read Unsent Letter and told me, very charitably, "i never read a fic that was a letter. so i give you points for being original."
For a while, I've been wondering why I continue to update my FF.net account in the first place (considering that very few people bother to read the fics posted there), but strangely enough, these reviews make it worthwhile. ^_^ I've never been in such a good mood at this time of day before.
Yours &c.

lol.I suppose I should label my drabbles in the future, but oh, that made my day. Especially the "i can sense some concept and plot" line. ^_^
this must be the SHORTEST fic i EVER read.
but even though its short.
i can sense some concept and plot.
so its still good.
it may not be the best but it certainly isnt the worst.
actually i would say its an ok story.
lol. and actually good for a person who wants to read a story quickly before they have to go to school or work.
lol, but thats just me.
its short and simple.
i still like it, even though i encourage you to do a fanfic with a more developed plot.
or.. maybe you already had.
no matter, im gonna check after this review.
