Hello, LJ, I'm back! Hurrah! I'm in New York as of the moment, but will return to my normal humdrum lab rat life on Sunday. Korea was fantastic in every possible way, and I wish I could have stayed for another month. I will make a proper post later, after I've organized my travel diary entries, which are currently not only backlogged but also rather embarrassingly neurotic (allow me some cosmetic editing please, for the sake of my dignity). I also have pictures! Some of them are even flattering, thanks to the magical powers of flash. If you couldn't tell by now I am on a bit of a high due to my really messed up sleep cycle: I didn't recover completely from jet lag before I returned, no thanks to the occasional all-nighter while I was there, and now my circadian rhythms know no day or night. -_-
Meanwhile, I shall be trying to catch up on what is currently up to skip=540 of the friends list. I took peeks at some of your LJs while I was checking my email in Korea, and it seems like there've been much ado going on while I was away. I'll try my best to read it all, but for the immediate moment, I'm off trying to write a coherent account of my trip, for my sake as much as anyone else's, since there were a lot of firsts involved. Most particularly: my first (two) time(s) going to a bar. (Mother says that it's a little sad that I was so excited to tell my parents about this particular experience because it shows what a sheltered life I've led. ::whistles innocently::) I also sent off postcards about three days ago to everyone who requested them (and a couple to those who didn't, such as Daera and Jenny and Nan), and they should arrive in...a few weeks? O_O
