Thought I should post this meme before I forgot tomorrow. Parents have oh-so-obligingly borrowed all nine tapes of My Name is Kim Samsoon for me (whee!), and they've been watching all the middle episodes I caught in Korea, while I wrote the latest part to "Balance" (for five hours straight). >_>

OMG. My Name is Kim Samsoon. I've only watched a couple episodes but I love it still. It's too funny! And it's got the romance too. The two main characters are hilarious together~ (What was the guy's name again? Jaesik? I forget.)

Wah, I love 식혜 too. Mmm. I'm planning to do the meme tomorrow, I also got tagged by Kat! :D

I'm going to read the rest of Balance tonight or tomorrow morning, because it is sheer awesomeness and it pwns my fics completely. I wish I could write AU like that. You ought to help me sometime, Tari! I lack research, info, and the skill! *helpless* XD

See you around eljay~ ♥

Yes, isn't it fabulous? I watched some of the dramatic middle episodes when I was in Korea and I've been dying to watch the rest of it all summer. <3

Ahaha, Balance is very odd because it's not at all the type of fic I usually turn out. Am of course always willing to help!--although I'm not sure what help I'll be. >_>;; I think you give me too much credit; very little about the fic is culturally/historically accurate. It's all just a jumble of random wuxia and samurai movies, plus vague memories of The Story of the Stone and The Deer and the Cauldron and a bunch of other Chinese novels read in translation. Oh, and kendo of course. XD But there was very little research involved, other than searching words on Wikipedia. ^_^;;

KIM SAM SOOOOOOOON <3333333333333

Jae and I totally fangrrled that for the week we marathoned it. XD Though the tension was best in the first five or six episodes. That heart in ep 3 was what got me BAD. XDXDXD

Am so in love with the series. WHEE! I watched several of the climax episodes when I was in Korea, but I didn't have the chance to watch the beginning episodes until now. ^_^;; I was howling with laughter throughout the first tape; I have a feeling the neighbors are going to think there's a lunatic next door. XD

One of my favourite moments is in the very first ep when she's HOWLING and SOBBING in the men's washroom and she has mascara running down her face and is totally horrified and horrible looking. I knew the moment I saw that scene that I had to continue. XDXDXD

(Though how the actress is considered FAT is far and beyond me. Weird Asian ideals, man).

Sorry for randomly replying, but talking about Korean dramas means that I should insert a few comments of my own >_>
I don't think she's considered to be /fat/, even if she has gained 7kgs for the show. She's just fatter that other actresses. Kim Sun Ah doesn't always look like that, though I have to say that they picked the perfect actress.
