Ad Mundo Exteriore,
I think that was the hardest practice yet. Yes, harder than any of the Gasshuku practices. Am so exhausted and moreover hungry. The problem is, technically I'm supposed to be fasting/abstaining, since it's Good Friday. The minimum is to skip breakfast and not eat meat, but to really get in the spirit, you're supposed to avoid stuffing yourself at meals as well. You know, not indulge in material pleasures, et cetera. Which is fine really, but I'm very hungry. Make that starving. I thought about ordering something at campusfoods.com but I'm too much of a scrooge to dole out $8.00+ and tip for a whole pizza that I won't finish anyway. I suppose I could eat the rice and side dishes in the fridge, but I'm not in the mood for rice--I'm in the mood for, well, meat. I want galbi (Korean ribs) or bulgogi (Korean BBQ). I also want, for some strange reason, ice cream. I went to go find L.P. and ask if she wouldn't mind walking with me to the Square so I could pick up something light and sweet--not necessarily ice cream--and perhaps some tea, but she's not in. Argh. She's the only friend who would be willingly dragged away from work at this time of night--I know most of you think Friday nights are for having fun, but most of the new friends I've made here (i.e. my blocking group) consider it prime homework time.
Well, I'm also dehydrated so maybe I'll just eat all the plums in the fridge. That should satisfy my conscience.
I'm going to stay up tonight and study chemistry. Or so the resolution goes. As you know, resolutions are made to be broken. >_>
I had something interesting to say but I lost it somewhere. ::sighs:: Yet another pointless post from me. Oniichan isn't on AIM for once, so I should be able to avoid the "I want to waste time, so why don't I find someone to talk to 'for a while'" syndrome.
