Wail of frustration

Why, oh why, do I procrastinate so much? I could have finished this paper yesterday if I didn't waste so much time. Maybe I should have pulled an all-nighter instead of going to sleep before finishing the last paper. I woke up at five to finish it. It's going pretty well actually, and it was probably better for me to have waited to think them out instead of plunging ahead and writing before I was ready. But I should have thought them out a long time before. I'm not worried about finishing the paper on time (it's due at 5, and I've only to insert the introduction and conclusion now), but I am worried that I won't have the chance to finish reading that chapter from Jackendoff before I have to leave for section. Why didn't I read it ahead of time if I was going to drag my feet on these papers so much?
Whine, whine, whine, self-castigate, guilt trip, fill in the blanks.
That being said, at least I like what I've written. For once.
Also, there is heat once more in our rooms! Hurrah! (My feet are still cold though, and my scarf has been permanently wound around my neck for the past two days. Let's hope the throat gets better in time for practice tonight.)
Yours &c.
