The weird part about doing systems biology assignments is that I moan and groan about it, but once I get started, it's actually quite engrossing. 1. Elaborate on your default icon.
Features a scene from Ravages of Time, the manhua series by Chan Mou based on The Three Kingdoms. The two faces are Sima Yi and Zhuge Liang, the characters translate to "Sleeping Dragon", the quote as a whole is what Sima Yi says to Kongming at the end of one of the early chapters.
2. What's your current relationship status?
Daughter to two parents, roommate to Nan, blockmate-across-the-hall to Daera and Schwimmerin, friend to all of you (I hope)...okay, I'll stop being glib but the answer should be obvious.
3. What exactly are you wearing right now?
Sweater, turtleneck, pants, socks, sneakers, glasses, etc.
4. What is your current problem?
Horrible sleep cycle, poor time management, too many exams to study for in the next week and a half.
5. Whom do you love most?
My parents.
6. What makes you most happy?
Reading fiction.
7. Are you musically inclined?
I suppose, yes.
8. If you could go back in time and change something, what would it be?
Taken a Core this semester instead of OEB 125.
9. Ever have a near-death experience?
No.
10. Name an obvious quality you have?
I don't know what qualifies as obvious.
11. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
"La vie en rose" because that's the last track on the Nodame Cantabile FST (another must-download!).
12. Any celeb you would marry?
Nope. But celebrity flavor-of-the-month over here is 이준기 (see current icon).
13. Name someone with the same birthday as you.
I don't know. I do know people born the day before me and after me though.
14. Do you have a crush on someone?
I think I've already talked about it ad nauseum.
15. Have you ever vandalized someone's private property?
Uh, no.
16. Have you ever been in a fight?
Yes, in elementary school. I also kicked quite a few people in seventh and eighth grade.
17. Have you ever sung in front of a large audience?
Yes. Largest audience would probably be at the singing competition that my mother somehow convinced me to go to in first grade. Actually I didn't even realize it was a competition until the award ceremony.
18. What's the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
That they're the opposite sex? Otherwise it's the same things I notice first about any human being.
19. What do you usually order from Starbucks?
The two times I've bought anything from Starbucks, I think I got the caramel apple cider.
20. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
Not beyond biting my tongue while receiving vaccinations.
21. Say something totally random about yourself.
I wear glasses.
22. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Once.
23. Do you wear a watch?
Yes.
24. Do you have anything pierced?
No. I tried to get my ears pierced in twelfth grade, and they got infected.

No.

Probably lunch from the Bauer Café.
29. What was the last thing you paid for with a credit card?
Greyhound tickets.

My mother.

Not particularly more or less than I like any other hair color. O_O

Photo of the bear that Schwimmerin got me for Christmas. Because I decided one day that my cell phone wallpaper should feature something uncharacteristically cute and fuzzy.

Er...Brokeback Mountain, I think? Or no, was it that Korean film?

Last book finished is The Devil in Music, by Kate Ross. In the middle of The Red and the Black.

In junior year, going to graduate.

Graduate school, working in lab.

Date: 2006-03-22 05:01 am (UTC)I got Cyworld to work finally. I didn't know how to disable the pop-up blocker, so I ended up having to open and reopen that page and try to enable the pop-up as quickly as possible. >_> It took me a while, but I finally got it.
I checked out the gallery -- what I could anyway, I could make heads or tails of the layout -- and saw some pretty nice pictures. LJK is too pretty. Looking at him makes me feel inferior. >_<
I looked at his profile too. If I got the conversion right, he's about the same height and weight as me. O_O
