Rec-go-round meme

Today was my roommate's 21st birthday. I bought her a bilingual edition of a Buddhist text from the Coop, since her current life goal is to become an enlightened Indian Buddhist guru. (Earlier, it was to become a South American revolutionary.) Schwimmerin and I joke that one of these days Nan will write a book, and it will become a cult text of wisdom and begin the new religion of Nanism. ^_^
Today was also the first day of Kubo-sensei's visit. He is, as ever, his rock-star self. Practice was awesome despite being scheduled late at night and in the QRAC (which requires most of the club members to catch a shuttle bus to get there).
Finally, today was the day I was told my systems biology midterm grade. Let it suffice to say, I'm kind of freaked out although not exactly surprised. I might take a hiatus this month, at least until the Shoryuhai, but the more I'm stressed, the more I feel the need to post in my LJ. (Hence the constant bouts of whining.) Sorry for the lack of comments. I've been horrible about leaving feedback to fics lately. >_< As reparations, this month and the next shall be devoted to finishing works in progress.
