I really ought to stop checking LJ and finish coding this web page, but I've been reading through some of the initial discussion on waldzell, and I just had to say: I HEART FANDOM. <3 I was a bit nervous whether the questions would be sufficiently thought-provoking, but apparently people really do want to talk about AU fic. (Well, of course they do, Tari, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered signing up.)

...Actually, since only two of the four people who've commented so far are on my friends list, I suppose this post is largely pointless, but still! I think I'm going to really enjoy this project. ^_^

One of the four Castalian schools in Hermann Hesse's The Glass Bead Game. Actually, it's the school known for turning out the best Glasperlenspiel players. XD I thought the name would be apropos...somehow?
