Extracurricular wonderfulness

So we are going to go to the HMMT! Is this good news or bad news? Advantages: More opportunities to continue my feud with half the math team boys (i.e. all the Asians who live around my neighborhood), a chance to see MIT, a chance to talk to other math team people (I had a lot of fun at NYSML that way), and well, math. Which may not be an advantage, but hey, I like competition. Disadvantages: I'm sort of at the bottom in ability level (I think Dean and I are about equal, but everyone else does better consistently) and I don't want to let the team down, and I also may end up feeling left out.
By the way, it's really very odd, the Rego Park-Forest Hills-Kew Gardens monopoly in math team. Everyone, except for the Manhattanites, lives around here. O_O
In other news, I am not prepared for HUNS. ::whistles innocently:: I'm not looking forward to this conference at all...hm, I'll just "piggyback" on the UK resolutions, I guess. Sheesh. I'm not setting a good example for the newbies in my delegation. And oh dear, head delegate meetings at midnight. Yuck.
Yeah, I know you all don't really know what I'm talking about. Too bad.
...Tari
Post-script: By the way, Tryo-chan, your scarf is really warm and perfect for this awful cold weather. ^_^ It's thicker than my black scarf so I ended up wearing it to school this week. It wraps twice around my neck and still hangs down to my waist.
