Lowell House on the Feast of St. John Joseph of the Cross

Dear world, I am back from my extended visit to the Bay area. I'm also behind in my classes and thesis-writing as a result, but once I get a chance to breathe, I should be able to inflict an account of my interviewing adventures on you all. Traveling is tiring. I still have to go visit Rockefeller this weekend as well, but at least that's in New York and at home.

But that's beside the point. How have you been? Am genuinely curious, so please drop a comment if you have the time, and let me know. ^_^

Yours &c.

I'm good!

We're finally getting water back at work. (Long story short: A couple pipes burst and we had no water in the building. It was bad. And kind of embarrassing.)

I can't think of anything else particularly noteworthy or exciting though. Alas.

Erk! That must have been inconvenient. Glad to hear the water's back though.

Ahahahaha? (Pulled a "1.5 hours away from an all-nighter" grading.) There's some fun research stuff in the future, tho, regarding hydrolics. And I now know a lot more about Korea's slave society, environmental models for fisheries, and the New Institutionalism. So, um, mostly usually (even if my professors say I'm looking haggard--ha! I have not yet begun to haggard!--no, I mean, um).

.... Except for the Chinese New Year. So, if you see my fic journal start to generate lots of depressing HikaGo and Naruto fic, it's because of Chinese New Year. But then, well. (I'm being kept too busy to brood in that way so far, at least.)

*_* Your research/field of study is so cool. I mean, slave society and fisheries? XD And ooh, what's this on hydraulics? It sounds intriguing.

Well, depressing or not, your fics are always wonderful to read, even if they break my heart. ^_^

Will you be home sometime before Sunday? I just got back to New York Saturday night after choir tour, which was fun and tiring. I think the stress of travel and doing a concert every night is finally catching up to me, as my throat is feeling kind of icky at the moment. I hope it's only temporary, though. Oh, and I was granted an interview with Teach for America! It's two days before my recital, which is unfortunate, but I guess I'll figure something out. Oy.

Let me know if you're home!
