Senior Send-off
May. 5th, 2007 04:50 pmLowell House on the Feast of Ste. Judith
I'm alive.
Today was senior send-off, also known as the gauntlet. A tradition in which each senior has to go against every member of the club (7 seconds each), plus alumni, both resident and visiting (for however long the alum wants to keep you suffering).
I refuse to relive the experience, but in any case, I survived! The sun is out, the day is warm, and even if my throat still feels raw from kiai, all is well with the world.
Happy Hikago Day, everyone!
Yours &c.

Date: 2007-05-06 01:08 pm (UTC)You'll be, er, proud(?) to hear that I got very drunk and actually threw up. >_>;; Well, I suppose it had to happen at least once before I graduated. Brian felt bad and agreed to get drawn on although he wasn't anywhere near drunk yet, and we all attacked him with Sharpies. Howard took photos, so you can add it to your collection.
