Lowell House on the Feast of Sts. Peter and Marcellinus

Nearly forgot to add! The second issue of India and the Conundrum is out, containing the third chapter for Via Misadventure, also known as "that subway story". ^_^ [livejournal.com profile] milchstrasse made a beautiful cover plus a gorgeous black-and-white illustration of Cathedral Square Station, so go take a look if you haven't yet.

She also gave me a version of the cover image to put on my own journal, so if you'll forgive me the conceit:

Check out the other serials as well! I especially like the wuxia one by [livejournal.com profile] array_of_colors.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] sub_divided, I just noticed that you called on Sunday. Sorry I missed you, and sorry that I took so long to realize...I'm notoriously bad about checking my missed calls. >_<;;

(Okay, I know I'm forgetting something but I'm sure it'll come back to me later.)

Yours &c.

I forgot I made that call. ^^; It wasn't anything important. I was having trouble finding [livejournal.com profile] apintrix at Jones Beach, but I didn't have her number so I couldn't call her. So I thought I'd call someone who might be near a computer, and ask them to check if she'd left me a message. I tried a few other numbers before I tried yours (the main requirement being, must already know about s_d livejournal) and I eventually got through to my friend Julie. We started talking about Spiderman 3 and that was when [livejournal.com profile] apintrix showed up on the next bus.

How did people live without cell phones. Seriously! Waiting around, I got so nervous -- not panicked nervous, because I figured she'd probably just missed the bus, but anxious-nervous -- thinking about what I'd do if something serious had happened, and how there was no way I could determine, without leaving the beach, what had happened.

Mostly I just don't like Suspense, Waiting In. XD;

Oh whew, nothing too urgent then. And I know what you mean...in middle school, I used to think nothing of waiting fifteen minutes or more for someone to show up. Nowadays, if someone's even a minute late, I have to call them to see if anything's happened. XD
