Ad Mundo Exteriore,
I was going to painstaking go through my friends list, reading all the LJ cuts and leaving comments, but alas, it is not to be. Because I have two papers to complete in twelve hours and I don't think I can make it. >_< Argh! I hate myself for procrastinating, but I really did need to start that Metropolis skin, and, and, it just looked so pretty...
I was looking over one of my "short" stories from last year, and it's better than I remembered. Hopefully, the judges at Scholastic will agree, or else I'm throwing away five dollars.
I reread The Left Hand of Darkness and noticed half a dozen things which I missed before. Sometimes I wonder whether I fully understand anything that I'm reading. Of course, I can tout the reader-centric view of literary criticism and insist the book is exactly about what I believe it to be about. Also read A Spell For Chameleon, which was amusing, but not nearly as funny as the Discworld books. Piers Anthony is too preoccupied with sex, if that's possible.

Post-script: Oh, Lydia! You never replied about the Winamp skin! Do you want it or not? Because otherwise there's no reason for me to bookmark the site.

BTW, what's the link to your website? I went to www.rosiesamfrodo.com, but all possible combinations of Lush Rimbaud and Lydia B. Slade didn't work.
