Blind Go, round five!

blind_go round five fics are up (well, we had a technical issue with one fic, which should be resolved soon). This time, it took one person about five hours to post fifty-one fics, though I spent at least one of those hours doing a gel extraction and setting up another round of restriction enzyme digests.

In the next few weeks, I need to...

- remember to mail out Mother's Day and my mother's birthday cards at appropriate times. (Cards bought, notes written, presents sent via Amazon.)

- sign up for DSL. (Arranged for cable to be canceled today. Decided to switch to DSL since it will be cheaper. Also took care of mail forwarding, gas and electricity, water.)

- pick up keys and start packing. (Reserving major moving for the weekend after next, but I can spend the next two weeks moving inconsequential items: books, binders, CDs, knickknacks, out-of-season clothes, other miscellanea stored in the closet, kitchenware--more or less in that order. Which would leave furniture, bedding, in-season clothes, food in refrigerator for the official day of the move itself.)

- change my mailing address with bank, credit card, etc.

- compile and hand in my residency application.

- finish the writing assignment for Methods and Logic. (Preferably by this Friday since I'll be away all Saturday.)

- work on genetics problem set and take-home final. (Of course, we haven't even received either one yet, but the exam period ends on May 23, so we don't have that much time left.)

- get all chapters of That Story to indianconundrum. (As well as, er, write the next chapter.)

- send postcards/letters to schwimmerin and Nan.

But first, sleep!
