Received a Mask of Apollo fic for Yuletide: In the God's Hands. I made some very specific requests, so I was awfully pleased that the writer managed to cover all of my details.

I didn't manage to finish my Yuletide assignment; I defaulted early enough to be excused, but I was still harboring hopes of turning the story in as a Treat. Looks like that's going to have to turn into a New Year's Resolution fic. I actually like the way the fic is going but it requires more thought to develop properly.

Haven't had time to read other fic, either for Yuletide or for fifthmus, unfortunately, but I hope to catch up later.

Is there any point in still keeping a fandom tag when every entry is going to use it from now on? -_- Well, we'll see.

Another Nikeratos and Thettalos Story

I've written a sequel to In the God's Hands. This one is called Conquests New and includes Alexander and a few of his friends as well as Nikeratos and Thettalos. There is a lot more of Thettalos too.

Hi, sorry I haven't gotten around to giving feedback yet! There's been a lot going on in RL lately, and I wanted to leave a more thoughtful comment than just, "Thank you, I loved this!" I hope you don't mind the delay. Thanks for the reminder though, and I'll remember to link it in my next entry.

I do understand - RL can be a real bitch sometimes!

When you look, since you like Nikeratos and Thettalos, I also suggest you check out the fic archive at the community. There are other Mask of Apollo stories there by other people, and the standard of fic-writing in that community is generally pretty good. I particularly like "Naxian Wine" and the one written for Yuletide 2007 is (IMHO) masterful.
