Quick notes
Mar. 24th, 2003 06:09 pmAd Mundo Exteriore,
In an attempt to defy senioritis, I caught up on all the AP Chemistry homework and did the AP Physics problem set and started AP review.
Then I realized I wasn't going to be in AP Chemistry today or tomorrow (due to USABO and AIME) and that the problem set was due Tuesday. Also, the response paper that I had started writing for College Lit was canceled.
Moral of the story: Don't resist the inflammation of the senior mind which prevents it from functioning during second semester. Surrender to the disease. That's actually a very unhealthy sounding message, but since this particular inflammation gives you an excuse to procrastinate and read LJ entries instead of doing homework...why not? (We're probably sick from all the extra carbon dioxide anyway.)
I hope this war will be over soon. Aside from reasons of personal philosophy that were set forth in the last entry, it may really affect my father's business, and I have the sinking feeling that the equation War = Economic Stimulation is no longer valid when there's not a real war effort going on in America. Or is there? I should read the news. I mean, I know the stock markets aren't down, but does that mean they're up?
