Ad Mundo Exteriore,

I was reading the newest part to In the Forest of the Night, which is just such a cool Hikaru no Go fanfic (I don't know how to describe it otherwise), and the author posted a link to a HikaGo fic review site at the bottom. It's being maintained by [livejournal.com profile] aishuu, who co-writes Sainan no Kekka as well as some of the best HikaGo shounen ai out there. And she reviewed my fic! Amazing!

Now, as you may know by now, I'm a fandom lurker for the most part. Having taken my utter anonymity for granted these past few years, when someone outside of my immediate circle has actually read one of my...er...three fanfics, I feel like I've received a birthday present or something like that. (Stop laughing at me, [livejournal.com profile] kaydeefalls and [livejournal.com profile] lush_rimbaud. Not my fault that I've never really participated in fandom before.)

Also pleased because I got comments on the Sai wallpaper at AnimeOnline. Ugh, the days of being completely and devastatingly ignored at devART are over, thank you very much. AO people are generous with their praise and comments, and some of them actually give me good graphics advice.

By the way, if you want the link to In the Forest of the Night...um...I can't remember those FF.net story ID numbers. But I did post up a link at [livejournal.com profile] animefics, so check there. (Have you read it, [livejournal.com profile] tryogeru? It has Sai in it, and I think you'll like it.)

I should stop being a hypocrite and actually comment myself. But I don't like criticizing people unless I know them well enough to know they won't be offended, and anyone else I review usually writes well enough so that I have nothing to say except, "Wow! Write more!" Still, I suppose to the writer, it still sounds nice, even if it comes after fifty other similar comments. Oniichan tells me all the time that I ought to invest more energy in "making connections" if I want any feedback (graphics or writing), but I'm too lazy. ^_^

Anyway, now that I've discovered where all the HikaGo fanfics really are (at the Go-Luv forums), I may actually get around to commenting. I spend way too much time on the Internet though...yeah, I should probably go eat lunch now, considering it's fifth period. (Oh, the joy of frees...)

Post-script: It occurs to me that I'm probably far too obsessed with Hikaru no Go. I'm reading the manga for the third time. But at least I don't go around emitting "Sai" greeting calls, like the way Lyd-chan says "Frodo" all the time. ^_~

Hi, I just saw your post at the hikagoyaoi forum. Clicked on some random links, and ended up here.

Btw, what's the url of that review site? Dunno where to look for Hikago fics either...

I think it's http://animehonesty.pitas.com/

There was a link to it at the end of In the Forests of the Night, which is how I heard of it.
