Ad Mundo Exteriore,

Not reading LJ for several days = dizziness from computer glare once you catch up on LJ friends entries. But I managed to even leave comments!

If you were interested, which I'm sure you weren't, the mystery story is getting to be weird. No longer a murder, but the theft of a key. Tried to make the theft unusual because the particular key in question was hidden in a room full of keys, and none of the other keys were disturbed. What can I say? I already know this is going to be another surrealist horror story. Quoting the great [livejournal.com profile] lush_rimbaud, nyah.

For some reason, that reminds me of that bit in the first Harry Potter book where they wind up in a room full of winged keys and they have to figure out which one will open the door.

Actually I was more concerned that people would think of it as a Matrix ripoff with the Keymaker and all.

But it isn't! It's a mystery! And stealing the key is supposed to be a pretentious metaphor for how the creative process drains the artist and leaves him empty-handed. But I'm sure no one will see it, and even if they do, the metaphor's pretty silly. But who cares? Yay, silliness!

Yum, pretentious metaphor. My favorite flavor.

I should get to my work, shouldn't I? Bah.
