Ad Mundo Exteriore,
Why on earth am I played by Jean Grey? First of all, I look nothing like her, being small and Asian. Second of all, I'd much prefer to be Professor Xavier, baldness and all, thank you very much. And Patrick Stewart seems pretty cool. Not that I have anything against Famke Janssen, but...::sighs::
I like the title of the sitcom. I also like the fact that half the "characters" are communities rather than actual people. Isn't it interesting that
temps_mort is played by Richard Gere? ^_^
And, yeah, not much more progress on Origin, but look, another priceless quote: "Throw up a handful of feathers, and all must fall to the ground according to definite laws; but how simple is this problem compared to the action and reaction of the innumerable plants and animals which have determined, in the course of centuries, the proportional numbers and kinds of trees now growing on the old Indian ruins."
Remember when Ryoma and Momoshiro get defeated by the street tennis boys and say to each other, "Real men play doubles!" with this determined macho look on their little faces? It reminds me of that, except Darwin's version is: "No, real men go research complex interdependencies among the organisms of a forest ecosystem!"
Speaking of Prince of Tennis, why does the Seigaku team look so grownup? (Excepting the chibi first year, of course.) I mean, the second and third years are just eights and nines, if they were in HPTF. They're supposed to be scrawny little things. Or at least a lot more immature than they look. Seigaku is a middle school, right? Honestly, the kids all look like high schoolers. O_O;; And of course, I'm a soon-to-be college freshman who looks like a middle schooler. Or did, until I got my hair cut today. Now I look like a young high school student instead.

Post-script: The Eriol battle graphic is finished! Or rather it was.
aetherangelette was putting in the watermark, when her laptop underwent a massive failure. It's now completely dead. She's on her old desktop now, but I don't know when she's going to put in the watermark again. Once it's up, I'll put up a link. It looks pretty cool and techy. We've decided to do more battle graphics in the future, so we opened up a joint AnimeOnline account. ^_^

| Living With tarigwaemir's enemy (WB, 2:30): tarigwaemir (Famke Janssen) and tryogeru (Lara Flynn Boyle) find a lost dog at a restaurant. At the same time, crazed_tenshi (Bernadette Peters) likes laptops, but winamp_skins (Rose McGowan) thinks they're disgusting. Then, dn_angel_fans (Olivia Newton-John) buys ldmoonflower (Ethel Merman)'s old banana. On the other side of town, fruits_basket (Jaime Pressly)'s new shirt bleeds in the wash and stains all of animefics (Tia Carrere)'s underwear pink. The next day, temps_mort (Richard Gere) tries to seduce hanakimi (Lauren Bacall) at a deserted mansion. Zany antics follow. |
