The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost in a good book, or giggling with my best friend, I live in a world apart, one full of adventure and wonder and other stuff adults don't understand.

In other news, I had my first choir rehearsal today. I'm singing alto, which is fine in terms of range, but not so fine when you consider that I don't have any experience in singing harmony. (I kept switching to the melody line.) The choir director is a music concentrator and knows a heck of a lot about harmony. He has a Glenn Gould quote for his signature. I'm impressed. Actually, the choir itself is pretty impressive, especially when you consider it's a non-auditions group.
