In which Tari engages in a guilt trip

Hey, don't look so shocked. I told you I didn't study (at all) for them. In fact, I forgot entirely about the Korean vocabulary quiz until the professor passed out the papers. Nevertheless, this means I'll be up all night studying for tomorrow's grammar quiz and doing the preliminary readings for the "short paper" due next week. -_- I feel like I've gotten off to a bad start and am scrambling to keep ahead. A horrid way to feel about yourself, I assure you.
I also finished my section assignment at the last minute today, which also really annoys me and my OCD tendencies. I need to finish work at least reasonably ahead of time to feel secure about it. Also, my perfectionism is offended by the sloppy logic in my response. -_- It's like I'm dangling on a cliff here, trying to stay ahead of homework. I think I'm stressing too much about it--after all, I shouldn't need to feel guilty about the fact that I don't complete all of the "recommended assignments", need I?--but then again, if I feel this insecure when I have a pretty easy courseload, what the heck am I going to do next semester?!
I've been sleeping at 2:00 AM everyday, which is supposed to be the average bedtime for college students, but I'm not used to it at all. I fell asleep in Korean section today, sitting in the first row in a class of seven students. The TF kept calling on me to wake me up, but it was rather ineffective, considering that my Korean speaking skills are pretty instinctive, and the speaking exercises mostly consisted of repeating after the teacher. I went and bought a cup of Earl Grey to wake myself up, which violates all my anti-caffeine principles, but it was effective, if somewhat humiliating.
Argh. Going to read the Aeneid...hopefully. I owe it to Vergil to not procrastinate on his epic.
