In which Tari attempts to remain coherent
Oct. 20th, 2003 07:47 pmAd Mundo Exteriore,
Naruto 54 has a new opening theme song! ::cheers:: Anyone know where I can download it? The anime art style is morphing yet again. Do anime character designs tend to fluctuate more than manga?
I have, as always, a lot of work to do, but I'm definitely going to sleep before midnight. I'm too groggy to stay awake.
I started reading The Genesee Diary, which is quite possibly my parents' favorite book. They've both read it at least three times in Korean translation, and they bought the English version for me to bring to college as "spiritual guidance". Actually, it's a charming book, and the style vaguely reminds me of another writer, though I can't remember who. Weible, in his book on Medjugorje, perhaps?
I had something to say...what was it? Oh well. In other news, I'm already sick of writing about neurofibromatosis, and I haven't even written the module II section yet. Ugh. I swear, the next time I have to write a paper for biology, it's going to be on original research. Specifically my original research. Till then, I'm going to conspicuously avoid any courses that require papers. I mean, writing labs is fine but this whole HGDRP idea is pointless.
I was going to stop by the board game store and get that magnetic goban but it never happened. But I'm definitely going tomorrow, probably in the morning. I need to get some blank CD-Rs anyway, to start burning off these .avi files from my hard drive.

Date: 2003-10-23 09:55 am (UTC)Btw, you mentioned that magnetic go set, where'd you get it and how much was it? I just read your profile and am guessing you are at Harvard, and I'm right around the corner from there (I found your LJ via Lyn) and I've been wanting to get a board so I can learn.

Date: 2003-10-23 03:36 pm (UTC)The shop I mentioned also has relatively small folding go boards that are much cheaper, around the range of $35, I think, but those are wooden. If you're just planning to keep it in your room, those'll be fine. (I already have a wooden board back at home, which is why I specifically looked for a magnetic set.) Hope that helps!

Date: 2003-10-22 02:44 pm (UTC)sorry. /ramble off
I like Naruto. I could probably get it no problem if my connection at home wasn't so damn slow. *sigh* And school has heavy duty firewalls up to prevent sharing at all. *shrug*
