In which Tari is awake
Nov. 4th, 2003 09:49 amAd Mundo Exteriore,
I was originally going to stay up until I finished the HGDRP module about which I was complaining to everyone who would (or wouldn't) listen yesterday. At 3:00, I gave up and went to sleep, setting my alarm for 7:00. Amazingly, I got up at 7:30, sat staring at the screen in a catatonic state for twenty minutes, went to the bathroom to wash the gunk out of my eyes, and came back a little before 8:00. I finished writing around 9:00. (Edit: Oops, I meant 9:30. I can't do math anymore.)
It only took me an hour and a half! I should have just stayed up and done it. On the other hand, I was really sleepy around then, instead of surprisingly mentally alert like I am now, so maybe the sleep did make a difference. >_>
I am definitely going back to Lamont today to reread the sections of the Metamorphoses and take notes for tomorrow's section assignment. Hm, maybe I should bring my biology textbook as well. And even my math worksheets.
Self, please remember to review the math problem set answers with Lily, since you most likely made a stupid mistake somewhere. That perfect score on the last two problem sets was very encouraging, now don't let yourself slip again, okay? After all, you've actually learned something new in math (we didn't cover the second derivative test for critical points last year, that being applications rather than theory).

Date: 2003-11-04 07:28 pm (UTC)Actually, it reminded me so much of the libraries that show up in Korean dramas when the protagonist is studying like mad for college entrance exams. I can feel the stress in the air.
Also, the wooden chairs are kind of stiff. -_-

Date: 2003-11-05 07:03 am (UTC)I'm off to find me a new place to study ... and to stay awake, even on 5 hours of sleep. (Which, sadly, is too little sleep for me nowadays!)
