Ad Mundo Exteriore,
I swear, I'm becoming more like Han Qing-jao everyday. I've always been a perfectionist, but I've only started experiencing the periodic spurts of worthlessness since I came to college. And if that wasn't enough, I think I have an obsessive urge to wash my hands. I keep smelling some weird odor whenever my hand is near my face. If by next week, my eye is glued to the woodgrains on the floor, please just knock me out and tell me (once I've regained consciousness) that no, I do not have a father named after the founder of Legalistic philosophy.
Went to Lamont, worked nonstop for two and a half hours, came back and basically started procrastinating again. Shoot me now, as my math professor likes to say. Oh, and I'm growing convinced that even my relatively "normal" professors are all secretly insane. In Korean, we did this "smart question, dumb answer" exercise, which may have been a source of amusement but was utterly pointless from an educational point of view.
Just had an funny interlude with oniichan on IRC, spelling and grammar mistakes preserved. Upon hearing that she planned to not go to sleep for the next three days:
tarigwaemir: You know, it's important to get a good sleep BEFORE the test, not after?
tarigwaemir: ::starts humming funeral march:: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the passing of our dear friend Angelette...
aetherangelette: ....before test....hrm
aetherangelette: it doesn't help that i have this essay due
aetherangelette: omg..if i didn't, i think i'd be okay....
aetherangelette: or...slightly better off
tarigwaemir: Who in her heroic efforts to pass her biology midterm succumbed to the weakness of the body.
aetherangelette: oOoo
tarigwaemir: In her failure to obtain enough rest, she expired just before her exam on Friday.
tarigwaemir: Though she is gone, her death has not been in vain.
aetherangelette: oO really?
tarigwaemir: May we all learn this valuable lesson, that mind does not supersede matter,
tarigwaemir: that we are all mere mortals,
tarigwaemir: that our immortal souls are confined to our earthly bodies which require sleep.
aetherangelette: daz why i sleep sitting up and have a reaaally aching neck when i wake up
tarigwaemir: In remembrance of her noble sacrifice, let us all take heed...
tarigwaemir: and ensure that we all do /sleep/ at least six hours a day,
tarigwaemir: in a comfortable bed,
tarigwaemir: with the appropriate intervals of REM and deep sleep.
tarigwaemir: And we shall all wake refreshed on the next day.
Yes, I am insane, why do you ask? This would really be a case of the pot calling the kettle black, if oniichan didn't go to sleep later than me almost every night. I mean morning. -_-

Date: 2003-11-04 11:42 pm (UTC)So, recall how I was saying a forum for winamp? We'll make it an LJ community! (Yes, I know one already exists) But we'll make into a Have Faith one! We'll have to make it forum-y. Somehow. =/ I guess our first posts will be the question post. As in, leave all your questions on how to deal with winamp skins here, post. I'm not quite sure how to handle the skins though. Oh, this is hard to write out. I'll call you tomorrow or something, lol =D~
