Of kalbi, needles, and Naruto
Nov. 23rd, 2003 08:58 amAd Mundo Exteriore,
Someone has an inferiority complex. That someone being the freshman representative for the Korean Association. He sent us an email about the Chusok dinner tonight, which yours truly will be attending because I'm hungry and I miss Korean food. Even if it's awkward to talk to them, I'm not going to miss a chance to eat kalbi. Yum...I get hungry just thinking about it.
Oh yeah, so the precise quote is: "Good. I know you all aced the SATs--except for me, who got a miserable low 1400s." Doesn't he sound bitter? What the heck was that comment for? I mean, this is the second mass email he's sent to all the Korean freshmen, and both times he goes off into random babbling. I look forward to not knowing who the heck he is.
I found a hole in my sweater this morning and sewed it up successfully. Well, you can tell that there had been a hole if you look carefully, but at least the hole is no longer visible. There, so much for my mother's claims that I can't sew. She taught me how to thread a needle and how to do the basic stitches when I was four, and she still thinks I'm not capable of reattaching buttons. -_- Hmph. After all those fake hemlines on practice cloth too...oh, and let's not forget the inevitable embroidery sampler that to this day is unfinished.
As for Naruto 59, where is Sasuke?! And unfortunately, now that I know already Naruto's going to beat Neji, there's really no suspense for the next episode. Naruto and Hinata are awfully cute together, I have to admit, though I don't like reading fanfiction for that pairing.
Okay, off to upload my updates to Have Faith. I have a Spiral wallpaper going up, since I couldn't finish the skin, so make sure to visit!
