Ad Mundo Exteriore,

Some book-related quizzes:

The second book written and the third chronologically, you're the story of a Narnia hundreds of years after the last visit, populated by mythological creatures struggling to overthrow a king determined to wipe them out. Susan's Horn brings help when it's most needed ...

Find out which Chronicles of Narnia book you are.

Er...I cheated on this one. I looked at the source code. Oops. ^_^ But powerful is better.

Find out which Discworld novelty you are.

Finished watching X yesterday, except for 21 and 22 which wouldn't play on my computer without a special plug-in. -_- Very annoyed I am. Not enough Subaru at the end, either. ::even more annoyed::

Okay, tout le monde, there is something that I just don't understand about the ending to X. Kamui figures out how to make a kekkai because he wishes for the world to continue and Fuuma to keep on living, even after he dies, right? But why on earth did it take him so long to realize that? I thought his wish was to bring Fuuma back. So what was the great epiphany that made him realize that he wanted to protect Fuuma? ::confused:: I follow the reasoning up to a certain point and then I get lost. Can someone just explain what happens in the ending for me? Tryo-chan?

Also, Arashi betraying the ten no ryu because she wants to change Sorata's destiny is just stupid and illogical. I can't believe she would act so irrationally. ::glares at the Ise shrine priestess::

Subaru-kun's so pretty, but why did he sink into a coma so quickly? He's introduced, bam, he fights with Seishirou, bam, and then he's dead to the rest of the world. -_- Okay, so he comes back just in time to win a couple of more precious minutes for Kamui-kun, but that was not enough Subaru screen time. ::sniffs, then glares at CLAMP::

And finalement, Fuuma's just plain cool. I agree with Tryo-chan there. I don't really dislike Kamui all that much; he loses his attitude but he doesn't quite become a snivelling wimp really. I think I'm becoming a Fuuma x Kamui shipper. Heh.

Gomen, Tryo-chan, but the first episode of Hellsing was really boring. Integral is pretty, yes, but there's no other eye-candy for me to look at. It felt a little bit like that bad vampire hunters movie (the John Carpenter one that we saw at my house). Maybe it gets better. ::shrugs::

But, Pet Shop of Horrors was cool! Count D is perfect. ^_^ Reminds me a little bit of Vampire Princess Miyu. Just a similar type of plotline. If you get more episodes, tell me, because I really want to watch.

Fhuu~ma, doshite~~, Fhuu~ma~...sob...

There, that was my Kamui empression for the day.

Yeah, Subaru didn't get enough screen time, thought wasn't Seishiro's death just absolutely wonderful? Sigh. V. pretty in the manga, especially how the characters in the speech bubble were blocked by sakura petals, then comes the sobbing.

Yeah, Arashi was pretty dumb, but what do you expect? I don't like her anyway. She and that dolt, Sorata, should have been killed a long time ago.

Eps 21 and 22 are under Realplayer, I think, the newest one, Realplayerone or something. check it out.

The ending was a cop out. Remember, the Dragon of Heaven won in the movie. the Dragon of Earth wins in the TV series so to even it out and make way for anticipation of the manga, which is still continuing (and probably will make it to the third millenium at the rate they're going)

What I think happened is that Kamui made a kekkai for the entire earth, and although he died (though kekkai's dissolve when the caster dies or weakens) he joined? the kekkai in order to 'protect' earth and the ones he loves.

It's a major cop-out, yeah.

I think that Clamp honestly doesn't know what to do with the ending, and had to make one up for the TV series.

I was so dissappointed that Fuuma became wimpy again, that the seven seals didn't all die, and that Kakyou wasn't explicitly killed by Fuuma. Sigh. I was hoping for a shot of something like what my cousin is drawing for me: Fuuma (instead of Kamui) holding Kakyou in his arms, with the X sword pressed against Kakyou's neck.

Yummy.

Nyah, FuumaxKamui. How boring. NYAH!

If you like Subaru, have you looked for more Tokyou Babylon stuff? I don't know, he looks too much like his sister, and Seishiro looks too much like the grown up Subaru and not enough like the sociopathic murder he is. (I like him. Alot)

Too bad you don't like Hellsing. I fell in love with the opening, Arkard, and Integral-sama. It fulfilled a Trigun desire that i've been having.

I have all four episodes of Pet Shop of Horrors on DVD. I could try to crack it and put it into AVI, but that'll take me a while.

Oh, and Kamui is too a snivelling wimp. You should see him in the manga. Has to be saved by a 14 year old catgirl and her little puppy.

Fuuma~, why didn't you just kill him when you could? Kakyou-sama knows the number of chances you've had to dismember him in front of his friends.

Funny thing though: Fuuma kills more of his own Seven Angels than the Seven seals do. Ha! How ironic.

One of my favorite scenes:
Buildings tumble down in Tokyou (one of them being the very chic Shibuya 109)
Fuuma: Try this Ice Cream, it's very good.
Seishiro: Hmm. it is good.
Fuuma: Too bad the store I got it from was just destroyed.

(Cackling is heard, from me)

PS. How do you do a crazed laughing face in ASCII? ACSII?

I don't like the way Subaru looks in Tokyo Babylon. He looks prettier in X. Wah! Kawaii!

I got the thing about Kamui raising a kekkai to protect the earth. What I didn't understand is why he was able to suddenly make the kekkai then as opposed to any other time in the story.

I don't wanna download the latest version of RealPlayer. Maybe I'll steal my dad's computer and watch it there. Or better, 'nii-chan's computer! Hehehe...

Still don't like Seishirou that much. Nyah. He's weird. And as for Kamui, well, I haven't read the manga, but in the TV series he's not so bad. So there.

Kakyou-san however was very cool all the way through, and I don't mind Fuuma x Kakyou either. Of course, considering the dearth of fics for that particular pairing, all it means is that I nod at you beatically whenever you start plotting ways to let Fuuma and Kakyou live together forever.

CLAMP is idiotic! Argh. When and if they ever come up with an ending, it's probably going to be even more of a confused cop-out because they ran out of ideas long ago. ::glares at CLAMP:: They can draw, but they can't tell a story. Hmph.

Yay, i'm getting "pamper the madman" nods again! I miss those. I've been getting them visually only from my mother recently. sigh.

OK, sorry I forgot to tell you this:
Kamui was not fully awakened as the Dragon of Heaven yet, and Kakyou (as well as Fuuma) even tells him, that if he doesn't fully awaken, he will never win over Fuuma.
My take on it is that he wakes as the Kamui, but too late to change the fact that the Dragon of Heaven loses, but early enough to fulfill Kotori's prophecy that the future is undecided. It's a big stretch, but hey.

Aah! Blasphemy! Have I heard such sacrilegious words from Tari? "Idiotic?" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! (little figure runs out into the street holding its head in pain. promptly gets run over by a bus, ending its agony)

Sob! {}_{}

No I understood that he wasn't a full ten no ryu, but what I didn't understand is how come he finally does become one? What's the trigger? Did Subaru say something that made him figure it out? What did Kamui realize that enabled him to fully use his powers?

It's true about CLAMP. Their plot lines are ridiculous, but they make memorable characters and pretty eye candy.
