Ad Mundo Exteriore,

1. My back hurts if I slouch. I feel like my body's been tricked into maintaining good posture.

2. We made it through the Candlemas concert without a hitch! I feel so proud by association...even if my voice cracked.

3. deviantART is deleting all picture skins from its system. I've had all of my Winamp skins erased, except for the Metropolis one, which the moderator apparently does not consider to be a picture skin. O_O I feel slightly insulted. I left a note saying that I was glad that they were getting rid of my work since I don't want to be associated with devART at all (as snarky as that sounds, it's an honest sentiment), and that if there was a way to delete my account entirely, I'd appreciate knowing about it. Yes, my...well, not so much bitterness, but plain disgust with the devART pretentious elitism knows no bounds anymore. I really do not want to be associated with an organization like that. >_< They've been systematically driving out any visible anime artists for the past two or three years, and most anime picture skins get flamed, with the implicit support of the DA staff. What jerks.

4. I need to start working on my second GN article.

5. What I hate about formalwear is that it condemns you to being cold. If you try to bundle up, it's not really formalwear anymore. (I'm not talking about gowns, but rather dress pants and blouses.)

6. To everyone who is either finished with their finals, going to be finished with their finals in the next few days, already at home in NYC, and/or have a long winter break that lasts until the end of January, I would like to send my resentment. Agh, I'm going to feel permanently guilty during the week after Christmas, knowing that I should be studying for finals or working on my paper.

DevArt is getting rid of picture skins? Oh, that explains a lot. A month or so ago when I used to check them about every two days there were dozens of new skins a day and now there are so few. But I never thought they deleted them all O_o (but I don't have an account there). Maybe it was because of all the complaints about the skinner-generated skins? They were awfully lot and most of them quite ugly (and incidentally anime-themed). But that's not a reason to delete *all* the anime skins -_-;;

Yup, formal wear is uncomfortable. Always. No matter if it's hot or cold outside. Maybe not in Milan in winter but everywhere where it can snow ><;;

DA started the deletions last week, I think. At least, mine were deleted during the last weekend. I think they consider picture skins to be copyright violations, so they dislike them intensely. ::shrugs:: I'm glad they deleted my skins though, since I've pretty much left DA and there's no point in leaving anything up there. ^_^;;
