Oniichan may be right...kendo is taking over my life. Well, not really--I don't think I'm that devoted to it yet, especially compared to the example set by my senpaitachi, who say that schoolwork is not an acceptable excuse for missing practice. (Saturday's party, by the way, did turn out to be a series of hilarious and horrifying anecdotes about tournaments, injuries and various alumni. Oh, and for some reason, very many stories from the (straight) senpai about getting molested by drunken gay Japanese boys. O_O Apparently, that happens a lot. Those particular anecdotes sounded rather like bad slash fics actually.)
Anyway, there's got to be something wrong with me when I come back from a cold day of shivering outside while walking in the gray, wet, slushy snow, and decide that watching the weekly kendo videos is going to be relaxing. (Well, it is. Watching people gracefully try to beat each other with bamboo sticks is such effective means of catharsis. But I can't really explain why.)
My feet are cold. But I still need to go outside sometime this afternoon and do some Christmas shopping.
That Spiral skin is so near and yet so far from completion. Argh. I had no chance to work on it yesterday because I spent all day on the restriction enzyme lab writeup, which was absolutely impossible. I've given up all hope on finishing the GN article before break. I'll just write it over break and submit it before reading period starts. -_- Tonight is going to be dedicated to packing and a last minute effort to update the site with a new skin. Let's see if I succeed. (Well, in any case, the December feature will be up, if nothing else is. >_>) Three windows isn't too bad right? Right? <_< ...Tari
