If you want a way to keep warm while walking out in the cold, carry a bag of bogu (that is, kendo armor). Practice was cancelled today, but unfortunately I only found out after I made the trek to the MAC. I realized however that despite the facts that it's only 12 degrees Farenheit outside (not counting wind chill factor) and that I didn't even have a scarf on, I was not at all cold. In fact, I was sweating inside my several layers of turtleneck, sweatshirt and heavy down jacket. Interesting, neh? So just lug around a heavy set of weights and you'll be in perfect condition all winter.
Now, on to requesting recommendation letters from former research mentors. Oh, and studying for biology. >_<
(Apparently I really do have a good chance of pulling through with an A in biology. My HGDRP and lab grades are near perfect. Now if it only weren't for those terrible midterms. ::sighs::)
