The importance of being productive

I survived my first Gasshuku practice. Never mind that it's supposed to be an easy one to get us into the mood. But I have to admit that I learned a lot. I feel slightly less uncertain about going into the free sparring exercises, and the Keio students were so nice about explaining things, broken English and all. ^_^
By the way, I'm learning absolutely nothing in math. Our TF regurgitates the textbook at a horribly slow pace. I doze off during class and wake up to find that they're still stuck on the same example. >_> It's a good thing that I took linear algebra last year, and for once I'm appreciating the proof-based approach, because the concepts are not presented very clearly in our textbook. I mean, they define linear transformations as functions that can be expressed as the product of a transformation matrix and column vector, and then in the next unit, they give the more fundamental definition of linearity as being closed under addition and scalar multiplication. The organization of this textbook makes absolutely no sense to me. I don't know what I'm going to do once we get into differential equations though. I finished watching Hero. I need more dorama. But I have an Expos assignment due tomorrow, which I probably should work on. It would also behoove me to get Friday's math problems done tonight so I can hand it in tomorrow. (I'll be missing section next Monday since I have to go to practice, so I probably should get it in ahead of time. It's sad but I'm actually looking forward to missing math. You see, even if I die in practice, that fate is much more preferable to dying of boredom in math section. >_>) In any case, I don't want to do any work, but I have to. ;_;
