Announcement
Mar. 17th, 2004 07:27 pmAd Mundo Exteriore,
Everyone who has my cell phone number, I ask that you please refrain from calling me before 9:00 PM on weekdays. Not only will I get to avoid worrying about my cell phone bill, but I will also avoid potentially embarrassing moments when I get called repeatedly during an HIR meeting (especially when I don't realize that my ring was changed for that number and don't pick up the phone).
No, I'm not upset about it, but naturally, my ego is already suffering from extended puncturing, thanks to chemistry, and it would like to avoid public humiliation as much as possible.
In other news, happy St. Patrick's Day! Anuna has a great chant based on one of his prayers, with a solo performance by John McGlynn. The lyrics, to the best of my knowledge:
A hedge of trees surrounds me,
A blackbird's lay sings to me.
May the Lord shield me,
Well do I write under the greenwood.
Upon my lined booklet,
The trilling birds chant to me.
May the Lord shield me,
Well do I write under the greenwood
In a gray mantle from the top
Of the bushes the cuckoo sings.
Hm...considering how my wardrobe is full of various shades of green sweaters, I really should have made more of an effort to wear green today. But I suppose it's forgivable since I'm not even Irish, for one, and I got up literally thirty minutes before class this morning. >_< I need sleep, I need sleep, I need sleep.
