Ad Mundo Exteriore,

Hah! I know for certain that two other Hunterites, and quite possibly a third, are going to be in Lowell House next year. (Jonathan and Kayla; Annie is the maybe).

I feel smug.

Also got the Lowell t-shirt at the Stein Club tonight, although we failed in our mission to find sustenance after the chemistry review session. ;_; Am very happy about the fact that Lowell's color is blue (makes a break from all the crimson) and that its buildings are pretty.

All right, enough procrastinating. Will get cracking on expos essay.

Post-script: By the way, [livejournal.com profile] phoebs, my imitation of Bob the Doodle now graces the chalkboards of the Pfizer Lecture Hall.

Oh man, the Freshman Lottery which I keep thinking of as Harvard's equivalent of the Sorting Hat is such a big deal here. Apparently, last year it took place on the same day when war was declared on Iraq and news channels came to provide live coverage of Harvard students "protesting the war" when in reality they were just trying to scream about how their House was the best and how the freshman placed in there had "won the lottery". >_>

On the kendo club mailing list, the captain asked us at 8:30 in the morning what House we were in. The replies promptly started a flame war between the Quad and River Houses...the upperclassmen are far more passionate about this than we are. There were parties all night, with T-shirts and other freebies being handed out.

So yeah, the Sorting--er, I mean, Lottery is a really big deal. ^_^ You got spared from any blocking drama entries because my blocking group formed painlessly, but oh man...just listening in on everyone else...if you think prom tables are bad, blocking is ten times worse. (Hm...you haven't suffered prom table drama yet, have you? Uh...yes, one more thing to look forward to, senior year.)

As for the chem test...um...>_>;;
